Learning involves reading and listening, enabling students to create a web of connections that are key in the future. However, it is challenging to cement new information since an individual engages in numerous activities other than learning. However, various strategies are essential once practiced and aid in information retention. First, one can conduct demonstrations whereby this technique can involve teaching others about the materials learned. This is essential in retaining information learned since a person will have future memories of their interaction through performances. Secondly, group discussion is beneficial since it allows an individual to review materials learned and attain new perspectives. Further, putting into practice the material learned enables ease of memorization and gaining new skills (Pablo et al., 50). More so, practice can involve teaching others information thus enabling one to gain more insight into past information and deliver it more accurately. Therefore, these constructive aspects create an environment where I can retain and cement information learned.

Growing as a future academic writer requires many students to differentiate different styles and techniques that create ideas. Additionally, one should develop a clear mind of what content they intend to write and the audience to receive the information. One can improve their style by integrating online tools to generate new modes of writing (Pablo et al., 50). Effectiveness can be achieved through public participation, whereby people give an opinion and gauge content competency before releasing it to the audience. I intend to practice writing frequently to gaining confidence and express ideas easily which will allow me to grow as a future writer.
